First days of school went well. 2nd grader is doing well this year so far. Granted it's only the second week, but he's adjusting to the extra work.
Kindergarten started yesterday and my K student is having a blast. She was up before everyone this morning and dressed already. She loves it!
My class is going ok. Learning a new language at my age is tough. All the different pronouns to use for each different situation. Confusing! I'm committed though. I'm going to get together with someone else in class to work on it and I have a couple Italian friends who are willing to help me practice. We'll see how I do.

My older dd started K this year too and I don't know if you knew but I lived in Florence Italy with my grandma for almost 3 years when I was 17. I did terrible in the language class I took and I ended up learning the most just by talking with Italians and by the time I left I could carry on a conversation pretty well. It's my dream to go back there some day before I kick the bucket. I'm so jealous of all the gelato and prosciutto you have access to! Of course what I miss most is the food! lol That is terrible! I'll bet this is the longest ass comment ever in blog history! ;)
